First we want to say Thank You to all of the folks who shared their favorite memory. That means a lot. We drew the name last weekend at Wenatchee and James Moore was the winner. We got to meet James and deliver his new hoodie.
Late Models Main 1 - 1st Place
It was the first hot race day of the year so the track was slick and qualifying times were lower for everybody. But we still managed to nag the pole.
We had some work to do with a 6 car invert. The race started of a little...tricky. If you were in the stands, you may have wondered what was going on. We had the initial jump on a few spots, but then didn't gain for a dozen or so laps. The car just wasn't handling well during the first half. But we did manage to get a handle on it and gain a few more spots.
Ultimately it came down to a battle with the 22. We were able to hold off and take the lead with a few to go.
Late Models Main 2
The same issue that we struggle with in the first mean came up again in a second. Will get it figured out and we're just glad to be able to load up with victory on the day. We look forward to seeing everybody at the next one.
